THE STORY BEHIND THE HELMET

For Nick Ho, racing is more than a passion; it’s a pursuit of progress. Every season, every lap, is another step toward mastering his craft and becoming a more complete driver.

Nick Ho, a 20-year-old student of International Business at Erasmus University Rotterdam, began his motorsport journey at a young age. Starting with karting, he quickly developed a strong passion for racing and competed in various national and international championships, gaining valuable experience and sharpening his racecraft.

In 2021, Nick reached a major milestone by becoming the champion in the X30 Senior class of the GK4 Kart Series, showcasing his consistency and speed. The following year, he made his debut in car racing during the Zandvoort 500 endurance race, teaming up with Wouter Boerekamps in the GT4 class. Their strong performance, resulting in a class win, strengthened Nick’s ambition to pursue a professional career in motorsport.

Nick then transitioned to sprint racing, joining the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux. Driving a Porsche Cayman 718 GT4, he dominated his class, winning every race of the season. This success laid the foundation for his step up to the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux with PG Motorsport in 2024, marking his debut in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup car, a significant challenge known for its pure, demanding nature.

In 2025, Nick continued his development within the series, achieving multiple overall podiums and securing his first race win, a breakthrough moment that underlined his progression. That same year, he made a guest appearance in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland with Team GP Elite, where he claimed rookie pole position and finished on the podium in both races, marking an impressive debut that highlighted his potential at an international level.

To maximize his performance, Nick trains four times a week to stay sharp and fit, incorporating running and CrossFit into his routine. He also invests in simulator work with Motorsport in Motion, a company specializing in realistic racing simulations. Alongside physical training, mental preparation plays a crucial role, supported by his coach Wouter Boerekamps, whose experience provides valuable guidance both on and off the track.

Looking ahead, Nick aims to continue developing his skills and progressing through the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid. His ambition is to compete in Europe’s most iconic endurance events, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Nürburgring, and Spa, and to establish himself among the top talents in international motorsport.

In 2026, Nick aims to take the next step in his career by competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, one of the most competitive and prestigious one-make series in Europe. Alongside this, he plans to take part in the final editon of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup race on his home track, Circuit Zandvoort, held during the Formula 1 weekend. To make this international program a reality, Nick is currently looking for new partners to join his journey, brands that share his passion for performance, precision, and ambition.
